Being raised on the classic archtops of the time, This Prelude is built to similar thickness as a L-5 or D’Angelicio would be. This thicker, heaver construction makes itself a rather stable guitar capable of projecting an enormous tone. Drawing inspiration from the classic masters on design this is a rather simply styled instrument with the only eye-catching detail is it’s bright red finish. With this color I thought the instrument deserved a pickup to match it’s appeal as a “player”.
