Inspired by the classic lines of some of the later D'Aquisto jazz guitars, the Model O-One represents our fundamental knowledge of the modern archtop guitar. Simplicity, clarity and timelessness are hallmarks of this model. You will find it's well suited for traditional and big-band jazz as well as contemporary acoustic fingerpicking. The Model O-One's oversized sound hole projects, increases bass response, and makes it louder than f-hole archtops.

The Prelude is a tribute to Otto's ingenuity and craftsmanship, combining his superior hand-crafted construction with sleek S-shaped sound holes and an innovative new bridge and tailpiece. This breathtaking design voices an equally stunning countour and tone.It is this tone that inspires us to make these fine instruments, and you to play them.

At first look the dark brown amber finish covers most of the extremely quilted maple of this 17”wide 2 3/8” deep sound box. This instrument is a round cutaway s-holed type, typical for the prelude modelo. The top is Sitka spruce with a three-layer purfling and quilted maple binding sprayed light amber. The sunburst neck with ebony bound, ebony fingerboard is of the same outrageous quilt. The extremely comfortable shape is our "A" neck measuring 1 23/32" at the nut and 2 3/32” at the 12th fret. The standard neck markers are the stainless steel rings on the face and side of the fingerboard.
